Tết in Boston is acompletely volunteer run non-profit community organization that is led by efforts of the Vietnamese American Community of Massachusetts (VACM) and the New England Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association (NEIVSA). Our mission is to:
- Celebrate the Vietnamese Lunar New Year, Tết Nguyên Đán, one of the most important celebrations in Vietnamese culture and supporting the community
- Preserve and educate those on the Vietnamese and Vietnamese-American culture
- Provide an opportunity for companies and organizations to promote products and services to one of the fastest growing populations in the United States
- Raise funds to support academic scholarships and educational cultural programs
- Provide an opportunity for youth involvement and community service
