Urban Research-Based Action Network (URBAN.Boston) is an emerging network of researchers and community members who have come together to identify opportunities for collaborative research (and thinking) that addresses critical needs facing urban communities.
The group, in coordination with the Vietnamese American Initiative for Development (Viet-AID), is hosting an event on Saturday, March 2, to foster small group discussion and provide opportunities for researchers and community leaders to share ideas and plan possible research + action strategies around local issues like education, sustainable neighborhoods, and transportation.
URBAN.Boston is a diverse group of researchers and community members who have expressed their enthusiasm for promoting research that contributes to community advancement and advances knowledge relevant to social justice concerns. This meeting is part of a series of meetings with various community groups to expand the URBAN network.
