Would you like to see more support services for autistic individuals and people with disabilities? More Vietnamese interpreters, more programs for youth, more resources for families, and a more equitable healthcare system?
That can only happen when our community’s voice is heard.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) is currently conducting the Community Health Equity Survey and wants to hear from residents across the Commonwealth—especially members of the Vietnamese community. The more Vietnamese people who participate, the more accurately the survey will reflect our community’s needs and strengthen efforts to advocate for additional resources, services, and policies that support Vietnamese families.

Why Should You Participate? The survey results will help state agencies and community organizations across Massachusetts: Identify the real needs of our communities; Guide fair and equitable funding and resource allocation; Improve programs and services; Develop policies that reduce health inequities.
For Vietnamese families raising autistic children or individuals with disabilities, this is an important opportunity to share your lived experiences. Your responses will help policymakers and community organizations better understand the challenges Vietnamese families face, including: Limited access to information and resources in Vietnamese, Difficulty finding culturally and linguistically appropriate services, Challenges accessing autism and disability-related supports; The need for more programs for families, youth, and caregivers.
Every response helps create a stronger case for expanding resources and support services for Vietnamese families in the future.
Who Can Participate? Anyone 14 years of age or older who lives in Massachusetts is eligible to participate.
